GR8 Tool and Equipment Hire support many charities their two main ones are Together in West Essex and DSUK. Disability Snowsport UK is a people-centred organisation with a unique sense of purpose: that anyone regardless of their disability can take part in and enjoy the thrill of snowsports.

DSUK have applied exceptional know-how and adaptability for over 30 years to enable those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing alongside the able-bodied. GR8’s director Josh Thompson and his wife Megan have volunteered their time for several years to support this charity by becoming helpers on the ski slopes in several different locations abroad and in the UK.

This year Josh was joined by some of GR8’s employees, Nick Evans and Oscar Nisbet took to the slopes to support DSUK, in helping to support exciting and life enhancing activities for individuals or groups who require adaptive equipment and/or special instruction. The GR8 staff thoroughly enjoy supporting such a worthwhile cause and will continue to do so.
